With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, Big 7 Travel has officially released The 50 Most Romantic Hotels for 2023. This is one day of the year when money is no object – couples in the US approximately spend $18.6 billion every year on Valentine’s Day, with hotel stays a popular experience.
Big 7 Travel announced official romance ranking of 50 hotels across the globe HERE. Matild Palace in Budapest, Hungary was named one of The Most Romantic Hotels in the World for 2023.
They wrote the following about the hotel. ” Matild Palace, which occupies one of a pair of palaces straddling Kossuth Lajos utca, is the perfect bolthole for the most romantic minds. Bedrooms are kitted out in jewel-toned velvets with Art Deco panelling and showstopping views over the river. The bath is big enough for two too.”

This year Buahan A Banyan Tree Escape in Bali, Indonesia, became the World’s most romantic hotel. This is the 5th year that Big 7 Travel has released the Most Romantic Hotels and we’ve taken on board a lot of our reader suggestions from the previous years’ lists. Hotel inclusions were ranked based on several factors, including properties with high Tripadvisor review scores from couples, unique ‘romantic’ experiences, room facilities and luxury.
Amangiri in Canyon Point, Utah topped the list last year while Longitude 131º in Australia came in at No. 1 in 2021, Adare Manor in Ireland came in at No.1 in 2020 and Taj Lake Palace in India came in at No.1 in 2019.
